Refund Policy

Last updated 19 July 2026

The principle first: if Screen Synergy didn't do what we said it would, we'll make it right. That might be a refund, a credit, or a fix, whichever is honest for the situation. Everything below is detail; that sentence wins if they ever disagree.

Slate Pro subscriptions (monthly, 3-month, annual)

  • Cancel any timefrom your dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then simply doesn't renew. No partial-period refund, no cancellation fee, nothing further charged.
  • Accidental renewals:if a renewal charged and you contact us promptly without having meaningfully used the new period, we'll refund it. We'd rather lose a month's revenue than argue about it.
  • If we remove a paid featuremid-subscription, you're entitled to a pro-rated refund of the affected period. That promise is in the Terms.
  • Billing errors (double charges, wrong amount) are refunded in full, no questions.

Reel Coins

  • Coins are a consumable and are not refundable once purchased, except where the law says otherwise. They hold no cash value and can't be exchanged back.
  • But:if a paid action fails after charging coins (a Wallet download that errors, an accept that doesn't land), we restore the coins. Automatically where we can detect it, and on request where we can't.

Talent add-on

Billed like Pro and cancellable the same way: active until the end of the paid period. Listings you posted stay up until their own expiry dates even if the add-on lapses.

Your statutory rights

Nothing here reduces what the law grants you, including the Australian Consumer Law guarantees and the EU/UK rules on digital purchases. Where those rules give you more than this page does, they win. One honest note for EU/UK buyers: because a subscription starts delivering immediately, you agree at checkout that the service begins straight away, which is the standard arrangement for digital services. The accidental-renewal promise above is our practical answer to the same concern.

How to ask

Use the contact form (pick “Billing”) with the email on your account. We aim to answer quickly, and refunds go back to the original payment method via Stripe.
